  • Referrals accepted from family physicians only after neurologist diagnosis (clinic is for treatment, not diagnosis).

• Rehabilitation is often important

  • CRIS: publicly funded, multidisciplinary (OT/PT/SLP), accepts FND patients.

  • Private options with FND-informed care: Leading Edge Physio and In Step Physio.

Calgary

• Functional Movement Disorder Clinic - research and tertiary care program that assesses patients with FMD for suitability to rehabilitation programs. Referral required (see link to Alberta Referral Directory).

• Pediatric Physiotherapy - provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children with movement or neurological disorders. Referral required (see link to Alberta Referral Directory).
